Course Description

This course provides an ideal foundation for those intending to pursue law based courses in University or in an Institute of Technology.  It will provide students with an introduction to the legal system and the core principles of Irish law.

The points from this course can be used to gain entry into related third-level courses through “The Higher Education Links System”.

Entry Requirements

Leaving Certificate, LCVP, LCA, or a level 4 certificate. Mature students welcome.

Access to programme will be decided by interview.

Work Experience

Work Experience forms an integral part of this KCFE programme.  Students participate in quality placements allowing a valuable opportunity to gain hands on experience in industry.  Links made with employers during work experience often result in employment.

Career Opportunities

Graduates will normally use this course as a progression avenue to third level.

 

This qualification can be used to progress to some certificate and degree programmes in IT's and Universities.
