Course Description

This course is ideally suited to those who already have a strong secretarial skill set and who wish to gain supervisory management skills which will enhance employment opportunities in the area of office management, customer service, junior management roles in office and business environments.

Entry Requirements

Ideally applicants will hold a relevant level 5 qualification in Office Administration. However, those with other appropriate level 5 qualifications and applicants with relevant workplace experience will also be considered and called for an information interview.  

Work Experience

Work Experience is a core element of this programme providing an opportunity to put skills developed on the programme into use in a real working environment.  It allows students to create links with employers. 

Career Opportunities

Upon completion of this course candidates will have gained the necessary qualifications and skills for advanced supervisory management posions within an once environment in both the Public and
Private sectors.

Graduates may choose from a variety of third level certificate and degree programmes.  Advanced entry to Year 2 of some courses at Institutes of Technology may also be possible. 

Course Fees

All students are required to pay the €10 application fee and €150 registration fee. Both of these fees are non-refundable. Students are also required to pay the €200 Government Levy (exemptions with valid medical card or evidence that you qualify for Maintenance Grant/Back to Education Allowance). Additional course specific fees will apply. Details of course specific fees are available on request from college office or when you apply online.
